Job Summary
We are looking for a dedicated and responsible family (husband and wife or small family team) to manage the cleaning and upkeep of a private home and adjoining temple premises, including basic gardening. This is a live-in or full-time role best suited for a trustworthy and hardworking family that can take ownership of maintaining a peaceful, clean, and spiritually respectful environment.
The role includes daily household cleaning, temple cleanliness and setup, garden care, and occasional assistance with events or guests. Candidates must be respectful, reliable, and able to follow daily routines without constant supervision.
Key Responsibilities
1. Cleaning Duties (Home & Temple)

Daily cleaning of the house: sweeping, mopping, dusting, and organizing rooms, kitchen, and washrooms.

Maintain cleanliness of the temple area, including regular mopping, dusting of idols, and keeping the prayer area pure and tidy.

Wash and maintain cleanliness of temple utensils, lamps, and accessories.

Support during temple pooja setup: lighting lamps, arranging flowers, and assisting as required.
2. Garden & Outdoor Maintenance

Watering plants, maintaining flower beds, trimming shrubs, and cleaning fallen leaves.

Ensure that outdoor pathways, parking areas, and verandahs are swept daily.

Plant seasonal flowers or vegetables as per the owner's instructions.

Maintain basic gardening tools and report any need for replacements.
3. Household Support

Assisting in kitchen tasks such as cutting vegetables or washing utensils (if needed).

Washing and drying clothes, folding or ironing if requested.

Helping with simple household errands or purchases (if nearby).

Preparing tea/snacks occasionally during guest visits or religious events.
4. Guest Assistance & Events

Clean and prepare guest rooms as needed.

Support during family functions, poojas, or festivals by maintaining order and cleanliness.

Serve water, tea, or snacks to guests politely when asked.
5. General Caretaking Duties
-
Locking and securing premises at night or when not in use.

Reporting any maintenance issues (electrical, plumbing, pests, etc.) to the homeowner.

Feeding or caring for any pets or cows on the property (if applicable).

Respectfully handling religious items, spaces, and customs.
