No. of Posts : 08
Qualification : A Graduate (+3) , if no Graduate is available, then +2 Pass, Similarly if no +2 pass is available then 10th pass.
Age : 21-35 yrs
Selection Procedure : Application shall be accepted in the specified Bio-Data Performa along with photo copies of all supporting documents for Age proof, Residency, Academic career etc, duly self attested by him/her. in case of non-availability of relevant required documents, he/she can tender an under-taking that he/she shall produce all the required documents in original at the time of scrutiny by Block level Selection Committee. The Selection will be based on the Career marking with weightage for the Matriculation being 30% for +2 being 30%, for +3 being 40%. A committee under the chairmanship of WO along with MI as convener and concerned Sarapanch of G.P as Member will Scrutinize the document and prepare the panel list of 3 names to the Collector /Sub-Collector, Koraput (as decided by Collector, Koraput) for approval Upon approval by the appropriate authority, the panel names will be Communicated to the concerned G.Ps, for appointment of the 1st Person (Scoring highest mark) as "Jagana Shayab" If no Graduate is available, then selection will be made amongst +2 Pass, Similarly +2 Pass is not available, then selection will be made amongst 10th pass applied for the concerned G.Ps.

The history of Koraput goes
back as far as 3rd century BC. It originally belonged to the valiant
and dreaded atvika people who fought the Kalinga war to restore the
empire's glory.The region successively came to be ruled by several
dynasites:Satavahans,Ikshvakus,Nalas,Ganga kings and kings of Surya
vansha.Finally becoming a district of Odisha state on 1st April
1936. The origin of the name 'koraput' is obsure.But theories
abound.According to Mr. R.S. Bell, former Collector Koraput the name
derives from Kora-Putti meaning 'the hamlet of the nux-vomica' a tree
that has once prevalent in the region. Another theory suggests Koraput
is the corrupted form of 'Karaka pento', literally meaning 'Hail-stone'.
While a folklore says koraput is anamed after Khora Naiko - a valiant
warrior of Nandapur kingdom
