Job Description:
- Laboratory Technician will be reporting to Assistant Manager-LabServices.
- The laboratory technician is responsible to verify the doctor’s recommendation and collects the samples for testing.
- The laboratory technician is responsible to ensure that all the investigations are done in time, abnormal findings are verified by the Pathologist, Senior Biochemist and Microbiologist, and the results are dispatched at the earliest.
- The laboratory technician is responsible to ensure that all records are maintained properly and updated.
- The laboratory technician is responsible for the disposal of wastes is done under the supervision of Lab-in-Charge as per the waste management system.
- The laboratory technician is responsible to ensure that all machines are serviced periodically and calibrations are done daily.
- The laboratory technician is responsible to ensure that the stock register is maintained properly and checked by the Purchase Manager.
- Any other duties assigned by the management from time to time.
