Jr. Resident recruitment in New Delhi Municipal Council
No. of Post : 20 (GEN-09, SC-05, ST-02, OBC-04)
Essential Qualifications & Criteria: i) MBBS Degree from a recognized university or equivalent qualification recognized by MCI and registered with Delhi Medical Council (DMC). ii) Candidates must have completed their internship on or after 01.01.2017. iii) DMC Registration is mandatory at the time of joining. iv) Those who have already clone one year Junior Residency in any Govt. Hospital shall not be considered and need not apply.
Age as on 28.02.2018: Not more than 30 years,
Appointment & Tenure : The engagement is purely on temporary basis for a period of 01 year
Emoluments per month: Rs. PB-15,600-39,100 + Grade Pay 5400/- + NPA + Usual allowances as admissible under the rules in central govt. of India.

Delhi Set-up had recommended that a fresh law governing NDMC should be passed by the Parliament for proper organization and functioning of the New Delhi Municipal Council.
Consequent upon enforcement of Constitution (Seventy Fourth Amendment)
Act, several provisions in Punjab Municipal Act, 1911 had to be brought
in tune with Part IXA of the Constitution before 31st May, 1994.
Furthermore, there were several major differences between various
functional regimes prescribed under the old law governing NDMC in
comparison to the Delhi Municipal Corporation Act, 1957.
