Jr. Software Engineer-IIMBx  job opportunities in Indian Institute of Management Bangalore (IIM Bangalore) on contract basis

Qualification :  Candidate should be a First Class Graduate in B.E/B.Tech, M.E/M.Tech Computers/Information Technology, BCA/MCA. Vocational courses/Demonstrated proficiency in software development/testing/media are desirable.

Experience :  Should have minimum 2-4 years of experience in software development and in handling assignments listed under major duties & responsibilities above.

Technical Skills :  Minimum 2-3 years’ development experience (or equivalent) using modern web technologies including but not restricted to LAMP based applications. Proficient in full-stack development, ranging from HTML, CSS/SASS, JavaScript/jQuery, to Django, MySQL, etc. Proficient in Python or other OO programming languages. Experience with relational and NoSQL database systems. DevOps experience working with AWS. Experience in technical support, debugging, sys admin activities with a working knowledge of networks. Understanding of standard code development and design review best practices. Proficient in using Version Control Systems such as git, github, etc. Proficiency with application design and data modeling. Open source development experience would be an added advantage. Exposure to Learning Management System / Content Management System (CMS) would be preferred.
