Jr. Stenographer /Jr. Programmer Job Position in Goa University
1. Junior Stenographer / 03-UR
Essential: i) H.S.S.C. or equivalent qualifcations. ii) Speed of 100 w.p.m. in Shorthand and 40 w.p.m. in Typewriting in English/ 45 w.p.m. Computer Typing in English. iii) Knowledge of Computers. iv) Knowledge of Konkani.
Desirable: i) Degree of recognized University ii) Knowledge of Marathi.
Pay Scale : Rs.17100
2. Junior Programmer /6 Posts (05-UR,OBC-1)
Essential: i) Graduate in any stream from a recognized University with one year Post Graduate Diploma in Computer Science / Computer Application from a recognized University. OR Bachelor degree in Computer Science / Computer Application from a recognized University. OR Bachelor of Engineering in Computer / Information Technology from a recognized University. ii) Experience of software development and data processing in a reputed organization. iii) Knowledge of Konkani.
Desirable: i) Master degree in Computer Science / Computer Application /Information Technology. ii) Knowledge of Marathi.
Pay Scale : Rs. 30375
Age: The age should not exceed 45 years, (Relaxable to SC/ST/OBC/PWD candidates as per State Government norms).

About Company
Though Goa University was
established in 1985, its genesis dates back to post-Liberation era when
the Post Graduate Centre of Bombay University was established in Goa in
1966. Though the Post Graduate Centre of Bombay University met the
immediate requirements of Goan students at a time when educational
resources and avenues in Goa were limited, an acute need was felt for
Goa’s own university that would promote interest in the life,
literature, languages and cultures of the people of Goa. Envisaged as an
instrument of socio-economic development and empowerment, Goa
University was thus established in 1985 by incorporating the then
existing Centre for Post Graduate Instruction and Research of the
University of Bombay.
