Customer Support Engineer - Bangalore
We're looking for a technical support engineer to support our customers with an experience of 1+ years.
In this customer-facing role, we're seeking a passionate and highly driven professional with prior experience working in a software company. You will play a leading role in delivering overall success of the portfolio of our clients. You will do so by supporting them in resolving the issues, keeping up client engagement and through up- and cross selling. As you will become our customerâs trusted advisor, this role is ideal for someone who is consultative by nature and passionate about customer happiness.
The executive will proactively engage with customers to provide strategic and tactical guidance to them in order to increase the value they acquire from BlogVault suite of products.
Responsibilities:
- Provide high-quality technical support over email, chat and phone to our customers globally.
- Going through & understanding internal system logs to debug issues.
- Report bugs raised by customers and any bugs you have found in our product to the Engineering team and follow up with them. Help the Product team with Bug tracking as well.
- Creating KB Article & FAQs regularly.
- Communicating with the Product team & providing them with feedback from the customers.
Required skills:
- Very Strong written and verbal communication skills.
- Ability to Document & create support processes.
- Excellent Debugging, problem solving and troubleshooting skills
- Good Time Management.
- Basic WordPress knowledge
- Coding knowledge in any language.
Prefered Skills:
- Over 1 year Experience in Technical Customer Support role
- Hands-on experience with WordPress & how a WordPress website works.
- Basic understanding of of FTP & DNS
- Basic understanding of HTML, CSS and command line / terminal.
