the extreme wave climate in Indian Ocean accessed by re-analysis and CMIPS
model data.

Qualification : Master of Science (M.Sc.) in Applied
Mathematics/ Industrial Mathematics/ Atmospheric Sciences/ Geology/ Geophysics with
first division/class with specialization in Computational Applied
Mathematics/Mathematical Modeling/Climate Modeling or related area. Candidates
should have cleared GATE/CSIR-NET/CSIR-JRF in Mathematics/Physics at the time
of applying. B. Sc. degree in Mathematics/Physics with first division.
Desirable : It is
highly desirable that the candidates have research experience related to
mathematical modeling and simulation and climate modeling. Knowledge of Programing languages like
FORTRAN, MATLAB, and also knowledge about Climate data operator(CDO), Grid
Analysis and Display System (GrADs) is highly desirable.
Fellowship : A consolidated salary/fellowship of INR
25,000/- per month will be paid as per the terms and conditions of the project.
(First two year: Rs. 25000/- and Third year: Rs. 28000/-)
Age Limit : 28 years for general category (S-year relaxation Schedule Castes/Schedule Tribes/OBC, Physically Handicapped/Visually Handicapped and female applicants as per Government of India norms)
