A. Name of Project: Utilizing germplasm diversity of climate resilient crop pearl millet for identification and mapping of heat stress responsive gene(s) and functional annotation of transcriptome adaptation to seedling heat stress’’- SERB funded

Qualification: Essential: Post Graduate Degree in Basic Science (i.e Biotechnology/ MolecularBiology/ Biochemistry/ Plant Science/ Plant Physiology/ Life Sciences) OR Post Graduate Degree in Professional Course (i.e. Genetics and Plant Breeding/ Biotechnology/ Plant Physiology/ Bioinformatics) selected through a process described through any one of the following:

1. Scholars who are selected through National Eligibility Tests- CSIR-UGC NET including lectureship (Assistant Professorship) and GATE.

2. The selection process through National level examinations conducted by Central Government Departments and their Agencies and Institutions such as DST, DBT, DAE. DOS, DRDO, MHRD, ICAR, ICMR. IIT, IISc, IISER etc.

c. Desirable: Experience in molecular markers and or proficiency in bioinformatics tools

Qualification: Essential: Post Graduate Degree in Basic Science (i.e Biotechnology/ MolecularBiology/ Plant Science/ Botany/ Life Sciences) OR Post Graduate Degree in Professional Course (i.e. Genetics and Plant Breeding/ Biotechnology/ ) selected through a process described through any one of the following:

1. Scholars who are selected through National Eligibility Tests- CSIR-UGC NET including lectureship (Assistant Professorship) and GATE 

2. The selection process through National level examinations conducted by Central Government Departments and their Agencies and Institutions such as DST, DBT, DAE. DOS, DRDO, MHRD, ICAR, ICMR. IIT, IISc, IISER etc.Candidates in Category-II merit list of DBT-BET exam can also apply.

c. Desirable: Research experience in microscopy, Fluorescence in situ hybridization and molecular markers

Age Limit:

Maximum age 35 years for JRF,YP,Scientific Administrative Assistant and Field Workers(age relaxation of five years for SC/ST & women and three years for OBC).
