JRF Basic Science/Project Technician job opportunities in Indian Veterinary Research Institute (IVRI) on contract basis

JRF Basic Science

Name/Title of the project: “Does AMR in livestock contribute to AMR in people in NE India? An interdisciplinary study investigating antibiotic use, drivers of AMR, and transmission dynamics”

Qualifications: Essential: Post Graduate Degree in Basic Science with NET qualification or Graduate Degree in Professional Course with NET qualification or Post Graduate Degree in Professional Course.

Desirable: Working knowledge in molecular biology, biotechnology / bioinformatics/ nucleotide sequence analysis, immunological techniques, computer application (Web-searching, MS-Word, Excel, Power point etc.).

Emoluments: Rs.25,000/= P.M. + HRA as per DBT guidelines

Project Technician

Name/Title of the project: “Does AMR in livestock contribute to AMR in people in NE India? An interdisciplinary study investigating antibiotic use, drivers of AMR, and transmission dynamics”

Qualifications: Essential: B.Sc. / Diploma in any branch of life-sciences or Medical/ Veterinary microbiology or Equivalent with minimum 55% marks or Equivalent grade. Additional percentage cut-off will be applied during the screening process .

Desirable: Experience with field work (preferably mirobiology& biotechnology) and/or experience with AMR research, molecular biology/biotechnology/ computer application (Web-searching, MS-Word, Excel, Power point etc.).

Emoluments: Rs.16,000/- p.m. consolidated (E)

Age limit: 21 to 35 years
