Qualification: Highly motivated students from the background of M.Tech in Biotechnology/Biochemical Engg./Bioprocess Engg., or M.Sc in Biotechnology/ Life Sciences are encouraged to apply. Preferences would be given to DBT/ CSIR / UGC NET qualified students. Prior experience is expected in one/more of the following fields which include molecular cloning, recombinant protein production from yeast and bacterial hosts, anaerobic clostridial fermentation, native and recombinant protein purification.
Only short listed candidates will be called for interview at Akbar Bhawan, Chanakyapuri, New Delhi.
Project entitled :“Direct fermentation of cellulose and ligninases-pretreated cellulosic
biomass by recombinant Clostridium strain for the production of butanol-a superior alternative
fuel”
