JRF Biotechnology job opportunities in Agharkar Research Institute (ARI) Pune
Funding Agency, Title, Period of the Project & Post Code DST- SERB Sponsored Project (SP-287). 'Nanoparticles mediated dsRNA delivery for biocontrol of the polyphagous insect pests, Helicoverpa armigera (armyworm) and Scirtothrips dorsalis (trips)'.
Qualifications Essential: i) M. Sc. First Class in Biotechnology / Zoology / Microbiology.
ii) Applicant must be qualified in any one of the following tests: CSIR - UGC NET, DBT-BET, ICMR/ICAR JRF, GATE, GPAT, JEST, NBHM, JGEEBILS.
Desirable: Hands on experience with insect handling and molecular biology.
No.of Post: 1
Monthly stipend : Rs.25,000
Age limit (as on last date of application ) : 28 years
As per revised SERB Guidelines, the CSIR-UGC NET LS candidates are not considered for JRF. Hence, the NET-LS selected candidate(s) will be initially considered for Research Student @ Rs.23000/- (fixed) p.m., till the final decision is taken by SERB.
In case of non-availability of qualified JRF, candidates having M.Sc. degree in the above subjects with at least 55% marks may be considered for Research Studentship @ Rs.23000/- (fixed) p.m
Application Fee: Non-refundable application fee of Rs.100/- (except SC/ST/women and PH candidates)
