Job Description
JRF Chemistry in a research project funded by the Science Education and Research Board (SERB).
Essential Qualifications: Master’s (M.Sc.) / M.Tech. degree in Chemistry/Soil Science/Earth Science/ Environmental Science/Hydrology from a recognized University/ Institute with a minimum of 60% aggregate or CGPA/CPI of 7.0 and above on a 10 point scale (overall percentage/CGPA/CPI; not only in majoring subject). The candidate must have Chemistry as a minor in B.Sc.
In addition to minimum qualification, for all candidates, a National level examination like National Eligibility Test (NET)/CSIR-JRF/UGC-JRF/INSPIRE-Ph.D/GATE/Rajiv Gandhi Fellowship or any other Fellowship is mandatory. However, candidate having M.Tech. degree is exempted.
Desirable:Experience of handling different analytical equipments (e.g. IC, AAS, ICP-OES, ICP-MS, UV-Visible spectrometer, etc.) Strong interest for working in the field for sample and data collection, if required
Age Limit: Applicant should not have completed 28 years of age at the time of application.
Duration: 6 months with a possibility of extension based on performance
Salary: Rs.31,000 + HRA (as applicable)
