JRF Chemistry Job in SRM University at Chennai

Applications are invited for the post of Junior Research Fellow under DST-SERB Core Research Grant project CRG/2020/000885, at SRM Institute of Science and Technology, Kattankulathur, Chengalpet District, Tamil Nadu 603203, India.

Title of the Research Project: – “Design of Photosalient Molecular Crystals by Crystal Engineering Approach towards achieving Smart Actuator and Photoswitchable devices.”

Duration of the Project: 3 years

Discipline: Chemistry

Number of post: One, Junior Research Fellow

Eligibility for JRF: First class post graduation degree in basic science (Preferably M.Sc. in Chemistry equivalent Degree with valid CSIR/NET/GATE Score. However, if no candidate is available with necessary qualification, selection committee reserves rights to conduct written exam followed by interview in selecting a suitable JRF candidate. Candidate with prior experience on synthetic organic chemistry would get preference.

Fellowship for JRF:  As per DST norms.

Age Limit: 28 years as on 31st January 2021
