Project Title : “ Interdisciplinary studies on impact of yoga on cervical and brest cancer patients and survivors”

Job Descriptions :
JRF: Collection of samples from cancer patients and survivors, yoga intervention. Preparation of samples. cell culture procedures. q-PCR, 1FIC. Confocal studies. ELISA. Angiogenic and apoptotic biomarkers, Cell block preparation. Liquid basal cytology. DATA analysis etc.
Technical Assistant: To assist PI and Co Prs with Identification. Enrolment and follow-up of cancer survivors. Supporting basic research. Administrative tasks and Field trips.
Yoga Instructor: To conduct specified yoga practice for cancer patients as directed by the Pl.
Eligibility:
JRF: M.Sc in Biotechnology/Biochemistry (NET Qualified candidates will be preferred).
Technical Assistant: M.Sc/PhD in Biotechnology/Biochemistry with First Class.
Yoga Instructor: Female with 2 Years of experience to teach Pranayama/ Meditation/ Aasanas.
Emoluments:
JRF : Rs.25.000/- for 1st and 2nd year & 28,000/M for 3rd year + HRA
Yoga Instructor : Rs.12, 000/-M consolidated for 3 years.
Technical Assistant : Rs. 15. 000/M consolidated for 3 years.
Duration of the project: 3 Years (2018 — 2021)
