Job Description
Applications are invited from Indian citizens for filling up temporary position of JRF (1
position) to work in a Rethe search Project funded by DBT-NECBH, Govt. of India

scan copy of signed application along with all supporting documents need to be sent to
Chief Investigator of the project (email: on and before 24 th
October, 2019 (5 PM). The list of shortlisted candidates will be uploaded in the
Institute website on 28 th Oct, 2019. The interview for the shortlisted candidates will be
held on 13 th November, 2019.
Title of Research Project: “Integrated software for analyzing single-cell RNA
sequencing”
Duration: One year which is extendable based on performance.
Number of Position: One (1)
Qualification for the Post of JRF (Temporary Post):
Essential. M.Tech / M.E. degree in Computer Science and Engg/IT with minimum 60 %
marks or 6.5 CGPA.
Desirable: Reserach expertise in Computational Biology/Pattern Recognition/Data
mining related subjects.
Selected candidate will be appointed initially for a period of one year with a
consolidated salary of Rs. 27,500/- per month and it can be extendable till the
completion of the project on performance basis.

About Company
The Ministry of Human Resources Development, Govt. of India vide its order no. F. 23-13-2009-TS-III Dated 30th of Oct. 2009 and 3rd March 2010, had decided to set up ten new NITs. In view of the above NIT Mizoram was started in the year 2010 in the state of Mizoram with an objective to impart education, research & training leading to B.Tech, M.Tech & PhD. degrees. This institute has been declared as an Institute of National Importance by an Act of Parliament. Here the students are admitted through All India Entrance Exam- Joint Entrance Exam (JEE Main).
