JRF Computer Science Job in IISER Kolkata at Kolkata

A position for a JRF is available in the research group of Dr. Kripabandhu Ghosh, Assistant Professor, Department of Computational and Data Sciences, IISER Kolkata. The JRF is expected to perform research on the application of AI/ML techniques on Legal Analytics. 

Title of the project: Smart Legal Consultant: AI-based Legal Analytics

Funding Agency: TCG Centres for Research and Education in Science and Technology (TCG CREST)

Principal Investigator: Dr. Kripabandhu Ghosh, Assistant Professor, Department of Computational and Data Sciences, IISER Kolkata

Remuneration: Rs. 34,100 (10% HRA included) per month

Tenure: Initially for a period of 12 months extendable for a further period subject to satisfactory performance of the incumbent and availability of funds

Basic Eligibility Criteria: Master's degree with minimum 65% marks or CGPA/CPI of 7.5 on a 10-point scale in any field of Computer Science; minimum 60% marks or CGPA/CPI of 7.5 on a 10-point scale in the Bachelor's degree and minimum 65% marks or CGPA/CPI of 7.5 on a 10-point at the 10+2 level

Desirable additional qualifications: Experience with the state of the art ML/AI and Deep Learning techniques; sound programming skills preferably in python programming language

Age limit: Must not be over 30 years as on 28th February 2021 which is relaxable for certain reserved categories as per rules of Government of India.
