Job Description

Applications are invited from the eligible candidates for one post of Junior Research Fellow (01)

Essential: B. Tech/B. Engineering degree in Dairy Technology/ Food Technology/ Food Science and Technology/ Agricultural Engineering with at least second division from a recognized university. M. Tech/M. Engineering degree in Dairy Engineering/ Food Engineering and Technology/ Processing and Food Engineering/ Food Engineering/ Food Process Engineering with minimum OCPA 6.5/10 or 65 percent marks in aggregate or equivalent.

Qualified National Eligibility Test (NET), Graduate Aptitude Test for Engineers (GATE) and National level examination* conducted by any of central government departments and their agencies and institutions (DST, DBT, DAE, DOS, DRDO, MHRD, ICAR, ICMR, CSIR-UGC, ICAR, ICMR, IIT, 11Sc, IISER, etc.).

Desirable: Preference will be given to a candidate having working experience on related areas and candidate should have willing to go outside during fabrication and trials of the prototype.

Number of Post: 01.

Note: Knowledge of Punjabi upto matric level is desirable. The condition of knowledge in Punjabi is however relaxab/e, if the candidate is found othenvise deserving.

Rs. 31,000 + 16% HRA per month (for first 2 years) and Rs. 35,000.00 + 16% HRA per month (for third year).

Age Limit:35 years (as on date of application) which is relaxed upto 5 years for SC/ST/PH/OBC/ women candidates.
