Job Description
Project Title : Integrating air and space-borne spectroscopy and laser scanning to assess structural and functional characteristics of crops and field margin vegetation
Essential Qualification : MA or MSc in Sustainability, Ecological Economics, Development, Agricultural/Forest Economics, Agricultural/Forest Extension, Ecology, Environmental Science, Life Science (with socio-ecological field Knowledge).
Desirable Qualification : a) CSIR- NET and UGC- NET qualified candidate will be given preference. b) Understanding different ecosystems structure and functioning, ecological resource flow and resource dynamics, socio-ecology, dynamics of land use land cover change c) Proficiency in data analysis (Primary and Secondary) and statistical applications and report writing skills. d) Should have the good field knowledge. e) Excellent command on English and any one or more Indian languages (written and spoken) f) Willing to travel in study sites - both rural and urban areas. g) Ready to accept challenges and have to have a capacity to work with Interdisciplinary team.
