Applications are invited on prescribed format for the following assignment in a purely time bound research project undertaken in the School of Electrical Sciences of this Institute.
Name of the Temporary Assignment A) Junior Research Fellow (JRF) – 1 posts (Power Systems)
Junior Research Fellow (JRF) – 1 post (Computer Science and Engineering)
Name of the temporary research Project : “Design and Development of tools for detection and
prevention of cyber‐attacks in Smart Grid Energy Management Systems (EMS)”.
Consolidated Fellowship : Rs. 35,000/‐ per month
Qualification & Experiences : A) M.Tech or equivalent degree in Power Systems Engineering (having B.Tech. or equivalent degree in Electrical Engineering) OR B.Tech or equivalent degree in Electrical Engineering with valid GATE score B) M.Tech or equivalent degree in Computer Science Engineering (having B.Tech. or equivalent degree in Computer Science Engineering) OR B.Tech or equivalent degree in Computer Science Engineering with valid GATE score
Selection Process : The selection process may be merged with that of the institute Ph. D. selection process for the Winter semester 2019‐20. In case bright candidates are found from the Ph. D. selection, they may be offered the option, at the time of interview, for joining this project, even if they have not applied against this advertisement.
