JRF Electrical job recruitment in Indian Institute of Information Technology Guwahati.

Project Title: Low-cost and Portable Telepathology Lab for Healthcare in Remote Areas using Computer Vision Approach

Qualification : ME/M.Tech/BE/B.Tech in Electrical Engineering, or Electronics Engineering, or Instrumentation Engineering, or in equivalent streams related to the field of the project with good academic record. The applicants should have knowledge in Image Processing.
Desirable: Preference will be given to the candidate with experience (theoretical/ practical) in Computer vision, C/C++ programming. Gate score will be preferred. Experience of work on Raspberry Pi noard will be added advantage.

No. of Post : 01

Salary : Rs.25,000/- per month

Duration: Initial appointment will be for 6 months, which is extendable subject to candidate’s performance

About Company

IIITG is one of the 20 IIITs being set up by the Central Govt. in PPP mode. IIITG started operations in August 2013. The second batch of 60 students joined in August 2014. There are now 118 students in the Institute. IIITG is operating from temporary premises in the Assam Textile Institute Campus at the heart of the city. There are two 8 Mbps Internet links. Students and some faculty are staying in a flat complex where 33 flats have been taken on rent by the Institute. The hostel complex is connected to the Institute by a wireless link and where is a wi-fi network in the complex.
