Project Title : “Impact of rainwater harvesting in India on groundwater quality with specific reference to fluoride and micropollutants

Positions: 01

Essential Qualifications: PG degree in Environmental Engineering, Hydraulics and Water Resources Engineering, Applied Geology, Environmental Science or related major with minimum 60% marks and must have qualified the applicable National Eligibility Test. Desirable Qualification: Experience in setting-up saturated/unsaturated column experiments in lab and its associated data processing, Experience with independent handling of ICP, IC, and other analytical equipments, Expertise in using geochemical/transport models PHREEQC, Hydrus, SWAT and related.

Emoluments: As per existing DST norms

Duration of the Contract: Initially 1 year and possible extension of 2 more years based on satisfactory performance.
