JRF Geography job recruitment in Central Arid Zone Research Institute

Essential Qualification : i. Post Graduate (M.A./M.Sc.) in Geography/ Geoinformatics/ Remote Sensing /Geology with NET/ GATE or M.Tech. in Remote Sensing or M.Sc. (Agriculture) Soil Science & Agricultural Chemistry with essential experience in satellite data interpretation/mapping with NET/ GATE. ii. Essential knowledge and expertise in digital mapping using open source GIS and remote sensing software. iii. Thorough working knowledge in ArcGIS and ERDAS software modules.

Desirable Qualification Experience in field survey and knowledge of landuse/ land degradation / desertification mapping

Duration and other conditions : Up to June, 2018 (purely temporary and co-terminus with the project, subjected to satisfactory performance)

Age limit :35-40

Emoluments : Rs. 25000/
