PROJECT - A : “Paleopedological,
Sedimentological and Thermochronological records of climate change and tectonics
during the evolution of Siwalik succession, Panjab re-entrant” under the
supervision of Dr. Suresh N, Scientist ‘E’ & Dr. Rohtash Kumar,
Ex-Scientist (WIHG) as a Co-PI of the project.

Qualification : 1st class M.Sc./M.Sc. (Tech)/M.Tech in
Geology/Applied Geology/Earth Sciences.
Emoluments :
For CSIR-UGC NET-JRF/GATE qualified candidates:- Rs.
25,000/- p.m. consolidated + admissible HRA initially for two years, and during
subsequent year/s as SRF a consolidated sum of Rs. 28,000/- p.m. + admissible
HRA.
For non-CSIR UGC NET-JRF qualified candidates:- Rs. 12,000/-
p.m. consolidated + admissible HRA initially for two years, and during
subsequent year/s as SRF a consolidated sum of Rs. 14,000/- p.m. + admissible
HRA.
Age Limit : Not exceeding 28 years as on date of
advertisement.
Desirable : Knowledge of Sedimentology and Himalayan
Geology.

subduction and exhumation of the north India continental margin : A study based
on structure and crystallographic features of the Tso Morari Dome of
trans-Himalaya, Ladakh, India” under the supervision of Dr. Koushik Sen,
Scientist ‘D’ and P.I. of the project.
