Applications are invited from the interested candidates for one temporary position of Junior Research Fellow (JRF) in a Department of Science and Technology (DST) - Science & Engineering Research Board (SERB), Start-up Research Grant (SRG) Scheme, sponsored project bearing the sanction number SRG/2019/001810 under taken in the Department of The Civil Engineering
Project Title: Site Specific Seismic Hazard Studies for Amaravati Region, Andhra Pradesh.
Junior Research Fellow (JRF).
Essential Qualifications :a) GATE qualified Masters in Geotechnical Engineering/Soil Dynamics/Structural Dynamics/Earthquake Engineering/ Seismic Vulnerability and Risk Assessment. and b) First class with not less than 60% aggregate (or) not less than 6.5 CGPA on 10-point scale in B.E/B.Tech. in Civil Engineering. and c) First class with not less than 60% aggregate (or) not less than 6.5 CGPA on 10-point scale in M.E /M. Tech.
Desired Experience Strong orientation towards: Geotechnical Earthquake Engineering, Soil Dynamics, Ground Improvement Techniques and Numerical Methods; Good knowledge of MATLAB or any other programming languages. Good English writing skills and report writing.

Consolidated monthly Salary : Rs. 31,000/-per month (No HRA)
Age Limit :28 years as on the closing date of the application (Age may be relaxed for exceptional candidates)
