JRF/ SRF  job recruitment in University of Pune on temporary basis

Number of Posts :  05 (SC.01. ST-01, VJA-01, OPEN-02)

Qualification :

Junior Research Fellow (JRF) : M. Sc. (Physics/Electronics/Instrumentation) with B+/Equivalent OR M. E. / M. Tech. (Energy/ Mechanical/ Electrical/ Electronics/ Materials Engineering) with First Class. The passing of NET/GATE test is compulsory. Other terms and conditions as per CSIR norms.

Senior Research Fellow (SRF) : M. Sc./BE/B. Tech. or equivalent degree with at least 55 % marks and one publication in science citation indexed (SCI) journal and should have completed at least two years of post M. Sc /BE/B. Tech research experience as on the date of application, as evidenced from fellowship or from date of registration for Ph. D. OR M. Tech./ME or equivalent degree in engineering/technology with at least 60 % marks. OR BE/B. Tech or equivalent degree with at least 60 % marks and two years research experience as on the date of application. Other terms and conditions as per CSIR norms.

Emoluments :

JRF :  Rs 25.000/ p.m + HRA for the first two years and on completion of two years as JRF and if the fellow is registered for Ph. D the fellowship will be upgraded to SRF and the stipend will be increased to Rs. 28,000/- p. m for the 3rd and subsequent years for total tenure of five years. The up gradation to SRF will be on the basis of assessment of fellows' research progress/achievements through interview by an expert committee

SRF : Rs. 28000/- p.m. + HRA for maximum tenure of three years or date of Ph. D. viva-voce whichever is earlier.
