Applications are invited for the position of “Junior Research Fellow” for DST sponsored
project “Developing of bio-inspired metal complex for efficient degradation of organic
dyes in industrial effluents”.

Name of the Post: Junior Research Fellow (JRF)

Monthly Pay: Rs. 31,000/- + 08% HRA

Qualification and Experience: BE/B.Tech with valid GATE or ME/M.Tech or equivalent in Chemical Engineering/ Biotechnology/ Bioprocess Engineering from IIT/NIT/reputed
University

Candidate should have extensive experience in industrial effluent treatment using
various techniques, Candidate should have hands-on experience to determine the TOC, COD, BOD,TDS, TSS pH etc. Candidate should have experience of process scale up which is one of the major requirement of the project.

Desirable: Good oral and written communication skills with capacity to work in a team.
Candidates who have prior experience in industrial effluent treatment using various
advanced techniques. Also candidate should have experience of scale up the treatment
process as well as water quality determination.

Terms: Initially for one year. But performance based yearly extension is possible.

Mode of Selection:The shortlisted candidates will be called for interview. The final selection of candidates will be decided on his / her merit and performance in the interview.
