JRF Life science/Laboratory Assistant recruitment in Advanced Centre for Treatment, Research and Education in Cancer On Contract
Title of the Project: Developing in vivo imaging methods using novel luciferase-luciferin pairs
JRF /1 Post
Qualification: M.Tech or M.Sc. in Life science, Biophysics or allied areas with greater than 60% marks with laboratory research experience required. Qualified NET candidates are preferred. Prior research experience in Cancer Imaging /Reporter technology applications along with hands on experience in molecular biology, mammalian cell culture, mouse experiments will be preferred. Person should have good interpersonal skills and adaptability to work in a multi-institutional team environment.
Pay Scale: Rs. 25,000 + 24% HRA = Rs.31000/- per month for the first two years and 28,000 + 24% HRA = 34720/- per month for the third year. [Non-NET qualified JRF candidates will be paid Rs.12000/-pm + 24% HRA as per DBT norms]
Laboratory Assistant /1 Post
Qualification: B.Sc. or higher degree with proven technical and organizational skills to perform various animal procedures is required. Preferences will be given to those with both animal imaging and animal cell culture laboratory experience. Person should have good interpersonal skills and adaptability to work in a multi-institutional team environment.
Pay Scale : Rs.15000
*One year M.Sc. degree course will not be considered.
Selected candidate will have to join at the earliest; hence results-awaited candidates will not be eligible to apply for the post.
