Department of Medical Oncology., JIPMER, Puducherry will conduct Interview for the Post of Junior Research Fellow on Purely Temporary Basis for the ICMR funded Project Integrated analysis of epigenetic, protein expression and metabolie mechanisms of drug resistance in relation to apoptotic pathway in acute lymphoblastic leukemia

3. Essential Qualifications: M.Sc in Life sciences, Biotechnology, Biochemistry or Equivalent Degree with at least one year research experience.
4. Desirable Qualifications and Experience:
Experience: General laboratory techniques, GC-MS, Flow eytometry, ELISA, RTPCR and molecular techniques Any Publication in Science Citation Indexed Journal National Eligibility Test Qualified (like ICMR-JRF, CSIR-UGC, JGEEBILS) Basic conmputer knowledge required for data entry and data analysis. Good Communication skills and Proficiencyin English
5. Details of the Project: Title: Integrated analysis of epigenetic, protein expression and metabolic mechanisms of drug resistance in relation to apoptotic pathway in acute lymphoblastic leukemia
6. Duration:3 years Principal Investigator: Dr. Smita Kayal, Associate Professor of Medical Oncology.
7. Contract type: Contract/ Temporary (One year - likely to be extended beyond one year based on the performance and availability of funds)
8. Salary: 31,000/-
Age Limit:
Not exceeding 28 years However, can be relaxed for women candidates/0BC/SC/ST / physically handicapped candidates as per norms
