3. Name of the Project: Development of Ti(C, N) based cermets modified by Si3N4, B4C and Cr3C2 for metal cutting application

4. Duration: 1 year with extension based on the performance up to 2 years and 8 month.

5. Essential Qualifications:

M.E/M.Tech in Metallurgical Engineering (or) Manufacturing Engineering (or) Ceramic Technology (or) any specialization related to manufacturing or Materials,selected through a process described through any one of the following:

a. National Eligibility Tests-CSIR-UGC NET including lectureship and GATE

b. National Level examinations conducted by Central Government  Oepartments and their Agencies and lnstitutions tutnlt OST, DBT, DAE, DOS, DRDO, MHRD, lCAR, lCMR, llT, llSc, llSER etc

6. Desirable: Knowledge on sintering technologies A strong commitment and motivation to pursue research in the sub•ect area and having good communication skills

7. Salary: Rs. 31,000/- + HRA
