Job Description
Junior Research Fellow Materials Science /1 Post
Name of Project: van der Waals superconducting circuits operating at elevated temperatures & magnetic fields.
Minimum Educational qualification (as prescribed by the funding agency): Master’s degree in Physics or related fields such as Engineering physics, Materials Science, Materials Engineering OR Graduate/Post Graduate Degree in Electrical engineering/Materials Science/Material Engineering/Applied Physics/Engineering Physics, with a minimum of 60% marks, selected through a process prescribed in any one of the following (a) Scholars who are selected through National Eligibility Tests-UGC NET including lectureship and GATE. Or (b) The selection process through National level examinations conducted by MHRD and its Agencies and institutions such as UGC / llT / llSc / IISERs / lllTs etc.
Preference: Preference will be given to candidates with knowledge and experience in (i) device processing, fabrication techniques such as lithography, metallization, etching (ii) processing van der Waals materials such as Graphene, MoS2 (iii) experience in electrical characterization techniques
Number of posts: 01
Fellowship amount: Rs.31000/- + HRA p/m
Tenure of the post 01-Year and extendable by one more Year subjective to the satisfactory performance of the candidate
Age 28 Years or below as on the closing date of application, A relaxation as per MHRD rules for candidates belonging to SC/ST/OBC and women candidates.
