Project Title : Design, analysis and implementation of numerical methods for doubly singular boundary value problems.
Qualification : Candidates should have a minimum of 60 percent marks (First class) in M.Sc./M.A. Mathematics.
Fellowship : Rs. 25000/- per month + HRA for first two years and Rs. 28000/- per month + HRA for third year for candidate with GATE/NET qualification. Candidate without GATE/NET qualification will get fellowship as per norms of the institute.

2002. Subsequently, the Central Govt. by Act of Parliament (National Institutes
of Technology Act, 2007 (29 of 2007)) declared VNIT Nagpur as an Institute of
National Importance along with all other NITs. The Act was brought into force
from 15th August 2007.
