Job Description

The research group of Dr. R. Kannan, (Assistant Professor (SLG), Department of Aerospace Engineering, School of Engineering, Amrita Vishwa Vidyapeetham, Coimbatore campus), is inviting applications for the post of Junior Research Fellow (JRF Mechanical Engg.) for a sponsored project funded by Board of Research in Nuclear Sciences (BRNS) titled “Impact of Surface Micro-Structure Modification using Plasma Process and its Wetting Behavior on the Corrosive Nature of Stainless Steel Surfaces.”

Duration: 2 Years (Subjected to the performance of the candidate)

Fellowship: Rs 31,000 / pm (HRA as per the applicable Norms. of BRNS)

Essential Qualification: Masters Degree in Mechanical Engg. / Chemical Engg. / Materials Engg.

Desirable Qualification:Aptitude towards Technical writing,Strong Knowledge in Micro-Fabrication and Surface Characterization in addition to Corrosive Behavior of Solid Surfaces.
