Job Description

Applications are invited for the one post of Junior Research Fellow (JRF) under Science and Engineering Research Board (SERB), IMPRINT-II Scheme funded research project entitled “Experimental Investigation on Tower Type Hybrid Vapour Compression Refrigeration (VCR) and Humidification-Dehumidification (HDH) Desalination Plant” (No. IMP/2019/000444).

Junior Research Fellow /Number of posts 01

Eligibility : First class with not less than 60% aggregate (or) not less than 6.5 CGPA on a 10 point scale in B.Tech/B.E in Mechanical Engineering with valid GATE score and two years of research experience. Or First class with not less than 60% aggregate (or) not less than 6.5 CGPA on a 10 point scale in BE/B.Tech. in Mechanical Engineering and M.Tech/ME in the specializations of Thermal Engineering (or) Refrigeration and Air Conditioning from a recognized technical institute/university as a full time program with valid GATE score and two years of research experience or First class with not less than 60% aggregate (or) not less than 6.5 CGPA on a 10 point scale in BE/B.Tech. in Mechanical Engineering and M.Tech/ME in the specializations of Thermal Engineering (or) Refrigeration and Air Conditioning from a recognized technical institute/university as a full time program selected through any other national level examinations conducted by Central Government Departments & their agencies and institutions such as; IIT/IISc/IISER/ICMR/ICMR/ICAR/DST/DBT/DAE/DOS/DRDO/MHRD/I ES/ISRO etc. and two years of research experience.

Consolidate d Salary Fellow ship of Rs. 31,000/- pm for one-year duration

Age limit : 32 years as on the last date of submission of application. However, age relaxation will be given for the deserving candidates.

Desired skills : Knowledge in Refrigeration and Air-conditioning design and processes simulations , CFD, Solid works and animations , MATLAB programming , Ability to write technical research articles, work on team and good communication skills
