ADVT NO. NPOL/JRF/01/2020:Selection For The Position Of Junior Research Fellow (JRF). Applications are invited online from candidates possessing requisite qualifications for the award of Junior Research Fellowships against positions anticipated to fall vacant at this Laboratory, in the subject/ disciplines as detailed below:-

1. Type of Fellowship: Junior Research Fellow

i. Subject/ Discipline: Electronics & Communication Engineering

ii. No of vacancies: Anticipated

iii. Essential Educational qualification: BE/B.Tech in Electronics & Communication Engineering in 1st Division with valid NET/GATE qualification. or ME/M.Tech in Electronics & Communication Engineering in 1st Division both at Graduate and Post graduate level.

2. Type of Fellowship: Junior Research Fellow

i. Subject/ Discipline: Applied Electronics/Opto Electronics/ Instrumentation/ Photonics

ii. No of vacancies: Anticipated

iii. Essential Educational qualification: BE/B.Tech in Applied Electronics/Opto Electronics/Instrumentation Engineering in 1st Division with valid NET/GATE qualification. or ME/M.Tech in Applied Electronics/Opto Electronics/Instrumentation Engineering in 1st Division both at Graduate and Post graduate level.

3. Type of Fellowship: Junior Research Fellow

i. Subject/ Discipline: Computer Science & Engineering

ii. No of vacancies: Anticipated

iii. Essential Educational qualification: B.E/B.Tech in Computer Science in 1st Division with valid NET/GATE qualification. or M.E/M.Tech in Computer Science in first division both at Graduate and Post graduate level.

4. Type of Fellowship: Junior Research Fellow

i. Subject/ Discipline: Mechanical Engineering

ii. No of vacancies: Anticipated

iii. Essential Educational qualification: BE/B.Tech in Mechanical Engineering in 1st Division with valid NET/GATE qualification. or ME/M.Tech in Mechanical Engg in 1st Division both at Graduate and Post graduate level.

5. Type of Fellowship: Junior Research Fellow

i. Subject/ Discipline: Chemical Engg/ Rubber Technology/Polym er Technology/ Nanotechnology Chemistry/Applied Chemistry/Polymer Chemistry/Polymer Science/Material Science

ii. No of vacancies: Anticipated

iii. Essential Educational qualification: BE/B.Tech in Chemical Engg/ Rubber Technology/ Polymer Technology/ Nanotechnology in 1st Division with valid NET/GATE qualification. or ME/M.Tech in Chemical Engg/ Rubber Technology/ Polymer Technology/ Nanotechnology in 1st Division both at Graduate and Post graduate level. For Chemistry/Applied Chemistry/Polymer Chemistry/Polymer Science/Material Science, Post graduate Degree in Basic Science pertaining to the subject/discipline in 1st Division with valid NET qualification

6. Type of Fellowship: Junior Research Fellow

i. Subject/ Discipline: Oceanography/ Ocean Technology/ Meteorology/ Physics/Applied Physics

ii. No of vacancies: Anticipated

iii. Essential Educational qualification: Post graduate Degree in Basic Science pertaining to the subject/discipline in 1st Division with valid NET qualification. or ME / M.Tech in Oceanography/ Ocean Technology/ Meteorology in first division both at Graduate and Post graduate level

7. The Fellowships shall be awarded initially for a period of two years (extendable as per rules), with monthly emoluments of Rs. 31,000/- plus House Rent Allowance as admissible under the rules.

Age Limit:

28 years as on the closing date of receipt of applications. The upper age limit shall be relaxable to the candidates belonging to Scheduled Castes, Scheduled Tribes and OBC as per Government of India norms

The Fellowships shall be awarded initially for a period of two years (extendable as per rules), with monthly emoluments of Rs. 31,000/- plus House Rent Allowance as admissible under the rules.
