Job Description

Applications are invited from Indian nationals for the post of Junior Research Fellow (JRF) in a Department of Science and Technology, Govt. of India, sponsored R&D project under “Innovation, Technology Development Scheme”.

Project Title: Development, Field Trial, Pilot Production and Technology Demonstration of Sintered Brake Pads with Improved Performance for Wind Turbine Applications Suitable to India Specific Wind Characteristics.

Essential Qualifications: B.E./B.Tech. in Metallurgy/Materials Science/Nano Technology/Mechanical or Production Engineering, with a minimum of 60% aggregate marks.

Desirable: Experience in powder metallurgy, vacuum furnaces and brazing

Fellowship: Rs. 25,000/- p.m. + HRA

Duration: 1 Year; Initial appointment for 6 months, and extendable up to a maximum of a total of 1 year based on performance and other financial conditions.
