Job Description
1. Applications are invited for the position of Junior Research Fellow (JRF) under Science & Engineering Research Board (SERB): No. CRG/2020/001779, entitled “Rational design, synthesis, and characterization of optically active monomers and dimers capable of exhibiting technologically significant liquid crystal phases”.
2. Position: Junior Research Fellow
3. The candidates who have obtained M.Sc. Degree in Organic Chemistry from recognized Universities/Institutes with minimum of 60% (first class) and qualified CSIR/UGC-NET will be preferred.
4. The candidates who have either appeared or appearing (within 30 days) for the final year/semester's exam with a minimum of 60 % Marks in the previous year/semesters may also apply.
5. The amount of JRF fellowship for NET/GATE qualified candidates will be as per SERB norms. For others, the monthly fellowship will be Rs.18,000/- for a probationary period of six months and will be enhanced based on the recommendations of the Evaluation Committee.
