Job Description
Applications are invited for the post of a JRF Physics position under the CEFIPRA (Indo-French)
research project No. 6108-1 – ‘Plasmonic hot electron pockets as exciton luminescence
promoters and region-selective chemical triggers’.
The candidate must have passed the M. Sc. in Physics or Chemistry (preferably minimum of one paper completed in theoretical chemistry during qualifying examination) with a minimum of 55 % marks or 1st class M. Tech. degree in relevant engineering branch (relaxation as admissible as per government rules). It is expected that the successful candidate has fundamental knowledge in optics & nanoplasmonics and will demonstrate capabilities to carry out independent research work (candidates with relevant academic background only be considered).
Candidate actively engaged in research work with evidence of published work will be preferred.
Note: Candidate who have cleared GATE/UGC-CSIR NET JRF/Lectureship or any relevant national level examination will be given preference for the appointment.
*Emoluments/Fellowships as under: For NET/GATE qualified candidate: Rs.25,000 per month + HRA
