Applications are invited for the position of Junior Research Fellow (JRF) for DST-SERB funded project entitled “2D molecular architecting by interface engineering for high mobility field effect devices and 3D nanoelectronics device integration in flexible displays”.

Name of the position: Junior Research Fellow (JRF)
Nationality: Applicant should be an Indian citizen.
Duration: Three years or completion of project, whichever is earlier.
Age limit: Below 28 years on the last date of application. Age relaxation is applicable as per Govt. rules.
Minimum qualification: M.Sc. in Physics (specialization in Solid State or Condensed Matter or Materials) or M. Tech. (Materials Science/Electronics/Electrical Engineering) with a minimum of aggregate 60% marks or equivalent CGPA.
Applicant with preliminary knowledge and experience in experimental physics of semiconductors, nanomaterials, device fabrication/processing/characterization or related areas is plus.
NET/GATE/JEST qualified candidate will be preferred.

Applications failing to meet minimum criteria will not be considered.
Incomplete applications will be rejected.
Only shortlisted candidates will be notified by email and called for the interview.
Mere possession of minimum qualification does not guarantee invitation to the interview or selection. Candidates will be short listed based on merit and need of the project.
No TA/DA will be admissible for attending the interview.
Appointment is purely temporary and will terminate automatically without any notice or compensation on termination of the research project.

The JRF is also eligible to register for PhD in SRM IST.
