Qualification : The
applicants should have consistent good academic record throughout with M.Sc. in
Physics/ Applied Physics with First class or equivalent grade from UGC
recognized University/ Institute.
Desirable : Knowledge of computer programming. NET/GATE
qualified candidate will be given preference. A project fellow, with fellowship
as per the SERB-DST guidelines, may be appointed in case of non-availability of
NET/GATE qualified candidate.
Fellowship : Rs.31,000/- per month as per SERB-DST rules.
Age and Relaxation (if any) : The upper age limit for Junior Research Fellow (JRF) is 28 years as on the day of the submission of application. The upper age limit is relaxable to physically disabled, female and SC/ST/OBC candidates as per the GOI rules.
