Advertisement for the post of Project Junior Research Fellow (JRF) under the
research project funded by ‘SERB’ at Institute of Nano Science and Technology
Applications are invited from highly motivated and bright candidates for engagement of
Project Junior Research Fellow (JRF) in the research project funded by SERB,
Government of India at Institute of Nano Science and Technology, Mohali.
Title of the Research Project: First Principle Designing of Single Molecule Magnets and
Grafting on the Substrates to Quench the Quantum Tunnelling of Magnetizations
Name of the position available: Junior Research Fellow Number of positions available: One Qualifications:
Essential: M.Sc./M.Tech. Degree in Physics/Chemistry/Nano Science & Technology with strong background in Quantum Mechanics/Molecular Physics/Chemical Bonding/Magnetism with NET/GATE/GPAT qualification.
Desirable: Computer Programming in Fortran/C++/Python and working knowledge in LINUX.
Age limit: The upper age limit shall be 28 years as on 20.03.2020, which is relaxed upto 5 years in the case of candidates belonging to Schedule Castes/Schedule Tribes/, Physically Handicapped/Visually Handicapped and female applicants whereas 3 years in case of OBCs (Non-creamy layer candidates). Salary: Rs. 31,000/- (pm) + 16 % HRA
