JRF Physics/Electronics Engineer recruitment in Inter University
Center for Astronomy and Astrophysics (IUCAA), Pune, India.
JRF Physics
Eligibility Criteria: M.Sc./M.Tech. degree by January, 2018 in a relevant branch of Physics / Electronics /Astrophysics with 55% marks or more.Proven track record in radio astronomy and radio data analysis (at least 1-year experience). Students with Astronomy-Astrophysics specialization in M.Sc. will be preferred.Good in programming language (C++, Python or MATLAB). Good oral and written communication skills in English.
Remuneration/Fellowship:Fellowship shall be Rs. 25,000/- per month for the first two years (only if NET qualified) and Rs. 20,000/- per month for candidates with only M.Sc./M.Tech. degree (without NET qualification). The successful candidate will be provided with on-campus accommodation subject to availability ( No HRA will be provided. ) and medical benefits as per IUCAA norms.
Electronics Engineer (Radio Physics Lab Project) /1 post
Qualification & Experience: First class degree in M.E./ M.Tech. in a relevant branch of Electronics/ Electronics & Telecommunication with 60% aggregate marks & more from a recognized University.
Age Limit: 35 years (Including relaxation)
Remuneration: Rs. 42000
