Junior Research Fellow Physics recruitment in IISER TVM on contract basis
Name of Project:Terahertz spectroscopic studies of layered 2-D materials.
Minimum Educational qualification (as prescribed by the funding agency): MSc/MTech in Physics/Photonics/Materials Science with 60% marks.
And qualified in a national Level Examination( CSIR-UGC, NET including lectureship, GATE, JEST or equivalent), Preference will be given to those (i) with experience in optical experiments using femtosecond lasers and/or (ii) those with published research work of high quality in related areas.
Experience in the following is desirable: (i) Semiconductor processing techniques including Photolithography, Wet etching, Thermal evaporation etc. (ii) Matlab
Number of posts: 01
Fellowship amount: Rs.31,000/-pm
Age: The upper age limit shall be 26 years on the day of application. A relaxation of 5 years is applicable to candidates belonging to SC/ST/OBC and women candidates.
