Title: Water Sustainability Mapping in Himalaya: Status, Trends and Options

1. Junior Project Fellow

No. of Post : 02

Qualification : First Class Masters degree in Physics/Earth Sciences/Geography or relevant subjects/ B. Tech in Civil/ Agriculture/ Environmental Engineering.

Desirable : Experience of working with GPS/ GIS environment  Experience of field work in high altitude areas across Himalaya/glaciers in Uttarakhand

Salary : Rs. 16,000/ month +HRA @8% or (Rs. 1800/- minimum) for first two years and @ Rs. 18,000/- month +HRA @8% or (Rs. 1800/-minimum) for third year

Age : Maximum 28 Years

2. Field Assistant/Data Entry Operator

No. of Post : 02

Qualification : Intermediate with 3 years field experience in Himalayan terrain Preference will be given to intermediate science. Experience of working on high altitude areas/glaciers in Uttarakhand or Arunachal Pradesh

Salary : Rs. 10,000/- pm fixed

Age : Maximum 35 Years

Title: Development of model village through technology transfer for livelihood enhancement in the Central Himalaya.

3. Programme Consultant

No. of Post : 01

Qualification : 1st Class Master Degree in Science/Social Science/Earth Science; supported by research publications and/or five years experience in technology demonstration/ capacity building. Desirable : Field research, mobilizing communities for natural resource management, knowledge to work in Himalayan systems and local culture, Physically fit to work in the Himalayan Mountains.

Salary : Rs. 25,000/- pm +HRA @8%

Age : Maximum 45 Years

 

4. Junior Project Fellow

No. of Post : 01

Qualification : First Class Masters degree in Geography/Botany/ Forestry. Desirable : Physically fit to work in the Himalayan Mountains

Salary : Rs. 16,000/ month +HRA @8% or (Rs. 1800/- minimum) for first two years and @ Rs. 18,000/- month +HRA @8% or (Rs. 1800/-minimum) for third year

Age : Maximum 28 Years

 

5. Field Technician

No. of Post : 01

Qualification : Graduation in Science/Social science. Desirable : Two years experience of working in field in Himalayan conditions

Salary : Rs. 12,000 per month fixed

Age : Maximum 35 Years


6. Field/Lab. Attendant

Qualification : Intermediate with 3 years experience of working in field in Himalayan conditions

Salary : Rs. 10,000/ month (Consolidated)

7. Senior Project Fellow

Title: Establishment and conservation of Gingko biloba and Taxus wallichianan using microbial technology: Field evaluation.
