Junior Research Fellow job vacancies in ICAR Research Complex for NEH Region on contract basis

Project Title : 'Marker-assisted introgression of high-yield and durable blast resistance genes (OsSPL14 and Pi-54) for genetic improvement in Manipur black rice (Chakhao) '

No. of Post : 01

Qualification : M.Sc. in Agri./Horti. (Plant Breeding/Plant Genetics/Plant Biotechnology)/ Life Sciences with specialization in Plant Biotechnology/Plant Genetics.

Pay Scale : Rs.25,000 pm (1st & 2nd Years) and Rs.28,000 pm (3rd Year) + HRA

Age Limit : 35 years for men and 40 years for women candidate (Age limit will be relaxed for SC/ST/OBC as per Govt. of Indian/ICAR norms)

It is the first institute of its kind setup by ICAR which encompasses all the disciplines of agriculture, horticulture, animal siciences, agricultural engineering, agro forestry and fishery to cater to the research needs of the tribal areas of NEH Region including Sikkim.
