Fellow job recruitment in Visvesvaraya
National Institute of Technology (VNIT) on contract basis
Qualification : M.Tech/M.E.
(GATE qualified) Power System / Power Electronics and Drives / Energy Systems.
Desirable : Analytical and experimental activities during
M.Tech with concluding understanding; knowledge and experience with technical
software/tools (MATLAB/LABVIEW/PSCAD) for the simulation studies. Knowledge of
power system dynamics, fault studies and machine modelling.
Fellowship : First two years Rs. 25,000p.m. (+HRA:20%) and third year Rs. 28000 (+HRA:20%)

Subsequently, the Central Govt. by Act of Parliament (National Institutes of Technology Act, 2007 (29 of 2007)) declared VNIT Nagpur as an Institute of National Importance along with all other NITs. The Act was brought into force from 15th August 2007.
