Qualifications :
For Project Assistant : M.Sc. in Bioinformatics / Biotechnology / Computer Science / Physics / Mathematics / Biophysics / Chemistry / Life Sciences / Zoology / Botany and allied Sciences / MCA or M.E./ M. Tech or equal in Biotechnology / Bioinformatics / Computer Science / Information Technology from a recognized University with minimum 60% marks or equivalent CGPA in aggregate.
For Junior Research Fellow : M.Sc. candidate should have
qualified NET/GATE/BET/BINC. However, suitable Non-NET/GATE/BET/BINC M.Sc.
candidate may be appointment as a Project Assistant.
Desirable : Candidate having prior research experience in
the field of molecular dynamics simulation of biomolecules.
Fellowship :
For Junior Research Fellow: Rs. 25,000/- (Rupees twenty Five Thousand) only plus HRA as admissible per month for the 1st and 2nd year and Rs. 28,000/- (Rupees twenty eight thousand) only plus HRA as admissible per month for the 3rd year.
For Project Assistant: Rs.14,000/-
(Rupees Fourteen Thousand) only plus HRA as admissible per month for the 1st
and 2nd year and Rs. 16,000/- (Rupees sixteen thousand) only plus HRA as
admissible per month for the 3rd year.
Age Limit : Candidate shall not be more than 28 years of age on the date of interview. Upper age limit may be relaxed as per Government of India rules.
