JRF /Project Assistant-II Chemistry job vacancies in Central Electrochemical Research Institute (CECRI) on temporary basis
1. Project Assistant-II /1 Post
Project: “A Supramolecular Approach to improve the efficiency of Enzyme Mimic Catalysis – GAP-01/16
Qualification: M.Sc., in Chemistry with 55% marks (50% marks for SC/ST)
Pay Scale: Rs.14, 000
Age: 30 Years
2. Junior Research Fellow (P)/1 Post
Project: “Manipulation of Quantized Conductance of Multilevel Atomic-Scale Devices using Confined Redox-Phenomenon” – GAP-29/18
Qualification: M.Sc., in Physics/Materials Science with NET/GATE or M.Tech., in Nanoscience/ Nanotechnology/ Materials Science with 55% marks (50% marks for SC/ST) (Desirable: Experience in the fabrication of Nano-scaled devices)
Age : 28 Years
Pay Scale : Rs.25, 000/-p.m. + HRA.
3. Project Assistant-III /1 Post
Age: 35 Years
Selection Procedure: Candidates will be short-listed for interview through a written test.

Central Electrochemical Research Institute (CECRI) was founded at Karaikudi. The institute took roots in the patriotic fervour of RM. Alagappa Chettiar, Pandit Jawaharlal Nehru and Dr. Shanthi Swarup Bhatnagar. Fast forward five years, on January 14, 1953, the institution became a reality when Dr. S. Radhakrishnan dedicated CSIR-CECRI, the 12th national laboratory under the Council of Scientific and Industrial Research (CSIR), to the nation.
