JRF / Project Assistant Sciences recruitment in Indian
Institute of Science Education and Research, Thiruvananthapuram (IISER-TVM) on contract basis
Name of Project: The effect of inter-annual variation in flowering intensity, periodicity and synchrony on pollination and fruit set in a seasonal tropical forest Funding agency DST - SERB (EMR/2014/000705)
Junior Research Fellow / Project Assistant
Qualification: The candidate should have a minimum of 60% marks (or equivalent grade) in the qualifying degree preferably.
Additional qualifications for JRF are: Post-graduate degree Biological Sciences with valid NET qualification, OR Graduate Degree in a Professional Course in Biological Sciences with NET qualification.
In case a suitable candidate with the above qualifications is not found, candidates with a Post-graduate degree in Biological Sciences may be appointed as Project Assistant if selected.
Preference: Experience in field ecology and evolution studies on plant and/or animal groups is highly desirable. Work experience certificate should be provided as proof of fieldwork experience.

Fellowship amount : JRF Rs.25,000 + HRA / Project Assistant Rs.12,000+ HRA Tenure of the post For one year, extendable to 2 years based on performance.
Age: JRF / Project Assistant: 33 years with 3-5 years relaxation for SC/ST/OBC/Women and Physically disabled as per government norms
