JRF/ Project Associate Computer Science recruitment in The Indian Institute of Technology (IIT) Mandi

Project Title: Classification of sonar signals using convolutional neural networks

Essential Qualification: B.Tech. / B.E. / M.Tech / M.E. / MCA / M.Sc. (Computer Science, Electrical, Electronics, or related.) Valid GATE/NET or equivalent national level test score for JRF appointment.

Desirable: Good background in signal processing, machine learning , Hands-on / project experience with Machine Learning / Signal Processing , Good programming skills (Matlab, Python, C, C++) ,Some experience with Linux, LaTeX ,Good command over English language and technical writing in English

Main Responsibilities: Algorithm development and evaluation , Data collection and annotation / labeling ,Assistance in purchasing laboratory equipment and their maintenance , Detailed regular documentation of the project , Building and maintaining the project website .

Salary: Ranging from Rs. 12,000 to Rs. 31,000 per month, based on qualification and experience.
